Not every big cruiser has to come from Milwaukee. The Triumph Thunderbird is Britain's take on the idea, with its own style and a distinct voice. At 12,000 ₽ a day it is the most affordable motorcycle we rent in St. Petersburg. A category A licence is required.
What sets the Thunderbird apart
Instead of a V-twin, it uses a parallel twin: 1597 cc, 86 hp. The pull is confident and the sound is unmistakably British. Feet-forward cruiser stance, two seats, classic lines.
Riders who know bikes often pick it precisely because it is not a Harley. It is a chance to try a big cruiser with a different temperament: calmer in its manners, yet just as eye-catching parked by the river.
Thunderbird rental price
Rates are per day and drop on longer hires:

A single day is 12,000 ₽. Two or three days cost 11,500 ₽ each, four to six 11,000 ₽. A week comes to 10,500 ₽ a day, a month to 9,000 ₽. Across thirty days you keep 90,000 ₽ compared with the one-day rate. The contract records every figure.
From one day to the whole season
A one-day hire lets you see if a big cruiser suits you before you think about buying. The weekend is the most common booking: a slow Saturday around the centre, a longer Sunday ride out of town.
A week is enough for a proper trip through the Leningrad Region and on to Karelia. A month means a good part of the season on two wheels, minus the cost of owning, garaging and maintaining one. Each extra week brings the daily rate down.

Good rides on a Thunderbird
Late evening is the best time in the city: quiet embankments and the bridges opening over the Neva, with the twin rumbling beneath you. In daylight, take the coastal Primorskoye Highway, or spend an afternoon at Peterhof and Tsarskoye Selo. Further afield, Vyborg and Karelia are made for a cruiser.

Thunderbird or a Harley
Harley's Road King has 1745 cc and 87 hp for 14,000 ₽ a day. The Road Glide is a 1868 cc tourer at 15,000 ₽. In output the Triumph is nearly level with that Harley, but it costs less and has a very British personality. Compare all bikes under motorcycle rental.
Documents and deposit
- Bring: passport plus a licence with the A category open.
- Contract: dates, price and conditions signed before you ride off.
- Deposit: yes; its size is linked to the rental length and quoted in advance.
- Collection: where and when, agreed beforehand.
- Corporate clients: we invoice the company and issue the paperwork for its accounts.
Everything else is under rental terms.
Collecting and returning the bike
When you book, we fix the place and time of handover, so the Thunderbird is ready when you arrive. A joint check of the bike and the contract signature take a few minutes.
Return follows the same routine at the agreed time. Need more days? Tell us before the end date and we will reprice for the longer hire. Leaving the region? Mention it at the start so we can settle the route before handover.
