Land Rover Discovery hire in St. Petersburg: seven seats, you drive
Seven people, their bags and a road that may turn to gravel: the Discovery 5 from Land Rover takes all of it in its stride. It is a full-size SUV with all-wheel drive and a calm British manner. We rent it in St. Petersburg without a driver for 22,000 ₽ a day. Ours is white, and it is the car you see in the photos.
What is under the bonnet and inside
The 3.0 V6 diesel, rated at 249 hp, works through an eight-speed automatic and drives all four wheels. The sprint to 100 km/h takes 8.1 seconds. That is no sports car figure, and it does not need to be: the Discovery moves seven adults without strain and never feels flustered.
You sit high, the cabin is wide and the finish is premium. People choose it when room and the ability to leave the tarmac matter more than lap times. Families, groups of friends, routes that end on a forest track.
Discovery rental price
Rates are per day and drop as the hire gets longer:

A single day is 22,000 ₽. Two or three days cost 21,000 ₽ each, four to six days 20,000 ₽. On a weekly hire you pay 19,500 ₽ a day, on a monthly one 16,500 ₽. Thirty days save you 165,000 ₽ against the one-day rate. The contract records every number.
How long people keep it
One day is often a family outing or an airport run when a whole group lands at once. A week turns into a touring holiday through Karelia and the countryside around the city, where seven seats and AWD make sense on roads of every quality.
Large families and teams sometimes take it for a month, because they need a big car every day rather than once in a while. Each step up in length brings the daily rate down.

Documents, contract, deposit
- Bring: passport plus driver's licence.
- Contract: dates, price and conditions signed before you drive off.
- Deposit: yes; its size is linked to the rental length and quoted in advance.
- Delivery: at any hour in the city, the region and at Pulkovo.
- Corporate clients: we invoice the company and issue the paperwork for its accounts.
Everything else is under rental terms.
Delivery and extensions
The Discovery can wait for you at a hotel, your flat, the office or Pulkovo, so a group can load up and drive away straight from the terminal. Delivery runs around the clock, anywhere in the city and the region, at the time agreed during booking.
Want more days? Tell us before the hire ends and we will reprice for the longer term. Leaving for another region? Mention it at the start: the route is agreed before handover.
